Caramel Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cream
    1 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    6 c. sugar
    3 c. nuts (pecans, Brazil nuts and almonds)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Put sugar, cream and syrup in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until mixture forms soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.
    Beat until stiff and pour in buttered platter.
    Slice.
