Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina sweet and spicy French dressing
    1 head lettuce (bite size pieces)
    4 tomatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 (15 oz.) can fancy red kidney beans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 bag taco flavored Doritos
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and chopped onion.
    Drain off fat.
    Add kidney beans, salt, chili powder and garlic powder.
    Add the Catalina and simmer about 10 minutes.
    Let cool.
    In large bowl combine the lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions and Cheddar cheese. Add the meat mixture and crushed Doritos.
    Toss and serve.
