Porky Pines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pound ground fresh pork
    1/2 pound ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    2 pieces dry bread
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Mix meat, onion, rice, egg, salt, pepper, and bread.
    Form into oblong balls and place in baking pan.
    Pour the water and the soup over them and bake 1 1/2 hours with cover on.
    Remove cover and brown for 15 minutes more.
    Serve with a green salad.
