Stuffed Mexican Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2/3 c. chopped green chilies
1 c. grated cheese
1/3 c. chopped onion
salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 can stewed chopped tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs and seasonings.
Mold into an even number of patties.
Place chili, onion and cheese on half of the patties.
Place remaining patties over topped patties and mold together, making sure the sides are sealed well.
Brown thoroughly in a skillet.
While patties are browning, mix chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, water and chili powder and set aside. After patties have browned, place in large casserole dish and pour tomato mixture over the top of patties.
Cover with oil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
