Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 Tbsp. milk
    4 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar, milk, eggs and flavoring.
    Add enough flour for stiff dough.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut with a biscuit cutter.
    Chill dough.
    (Make in morning, bake in evening.)
    Bake on greased cookie sheet until golden brown.
    You can put the remainder in rolls and put in freezer wrapped in waxed paper.
