Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 tsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    2 tsp. grated ginger root
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, molasses, vinegar and remaining dry ingredients all together.
    Form into balls the size of a walnut.
    Place far apart on cookie sheet to allow for spreading.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
    Makes approximately 4 dozen.
