Jello Fruit Filling Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large or 2 small pkg. cherry or strawberry jello
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cut-up nut meats
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in the boiling water.
    Add the crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling.
    Mix and add nut meats.
    Pour into mold and chill.
    Top with sweetened whipped cream or other desired topping.
    Makes 12 large servings.
