Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen spinach
    1 can water chestnuts, diced
    1 (16 oz.) sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 pkg. Lipton garden soup mix
Preparation
    Thaw and drain spinach.
    Remove all the water and pat dry with paper towels.
    Crumble the spinach.
    Add finely diced water chestnuts, sour cream and mayonnaise.
    Add finely chopped onion and soup mix.
    Mix well.
    Put mixture into a covered dish and let stand for 8 hours in refrigerator or longer.
    Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.
