Frosty Date Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    6 dates, sliced in half
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in oats and dates.
    Add oil, egg and milk.
    Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Fill lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Place one date half in each muffin cup.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Drizzle with powdered sugar frosting.
    If desired, a few drops of orange extract can be added to the frosting for extra flavor.
