Best-Ever Veal And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium green pepper
    1 medium red pepper
    1 medium yellow pepper
    1/2 c. olive oil, divided
    1 lb. veal scallops, cut into 3-inch squares
    1/2 tsp. salt, divided
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    1 large onion, cut vertical
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1/4 c. dry wine (white)
    1 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Cut peppers into 1-inch squares.
    Heat 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet over high heat.
    When oil ripples, add peppers and cook until crisp-tender.
    Remove with slotted spoon and set aside.
