Santa'S Whiskers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. finely chopped candied red or green cherries
    1/3 c. finely chopped pecans
    3/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    In a large bowl beat butter with with mixer on medium high for 30 seconds.
    Add half the flour and all the sugar milk and vanilla. Beat until combined, beat in remaining flour.
    Stir in cherries and pecans.
    Shape dough into two 8 inch rolls, roll each in coconut. Wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap, chill 4 to 48 hours.
    Cut dough into 1/4 inch slices and place on ungreased sheet 1 inch apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 - 12 minutes.
