Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake, cut into 2 layers
    1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    2 c. flaked coconut
    2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding (prepared according to directions)
    5 c. whipped topping
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. whole maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Place 1 layer of cake in bottom of punch bowl.
    Spread in layers over cake:
    1/2 pie filling, 1/2 pineapple, 1 cup coconut, 1 box prepared pudding, 2 1/2 cups whipped topping and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Add second layer of cake and layer other ingredients as before.
    Garnish with cherries.
