Baked Pimento Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white bread
    1 c. milk
    1 c. water
    4 eggs
    1 lb. sharp cheese
    1 large jar pimiento
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Combine milk, water, margarine and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil.
    Trim bread and break into pieces in a large bowl.
    Pour liquid mixture over bread and let sit for 15 minutes.
    Grate cheese; mash pimientos and add to mixture.
    Add well beaten egg yolks and refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
    Pour into an 8 x 12-inch pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Best served warm.
