Not So Sweet Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecan halves (or broken pieces)
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Soften butter and cream.
    Add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
    Add syrup and salt.
    Beat well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly.
    Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell, and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.
