Fudge Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. Sego milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt caramels in 1/3 c. Sago milk; set aside.
    Mix cake mix with 1/3 c. Sago milk and margarine.
    Put half of cake mixture in greased 9 X 13 pan and bake 5 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and add in order chocolate chips, melted caramel mixture, nuts and remaining half cake mixture.
    Last half of cake mixture will be very thick; drop by spoonfuls on nuts.
    Bake 20 minutes more. Cool and cut into bars.
