English Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped cooking apples*
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Beat egg well and add all the rest of the ingredients in the order given.
Batter should be smooth and mixed well before stirring in apples and nuts.
Turn into a buttered pie pan.
(No crust in this pie.)
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
After it is cooled, cut in pieces or wedges and serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
