Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. coconut extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
3 c. flour, sifted
1 c. milk
1 c. shredded coconut
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each egg. Alternate flour and salt with milk.
Fold in coconut and extracts. Pour batter into a greased tube pan and put in cold oven.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over warm cake.
