Pink Rhubarb Refresher(Usa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. tender rhubarb
    sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    5 c. boiling water
    grapefruit juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb in boiling water to a mush (cut rhubarb but do not peel).
    Press through a sieve.
    Measure the juice.
    For each cup juice add 1/3 cup sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Chill.
    For each cup rhubarb juice add 1/2 cup grapefruit juice.
    Add the 1/4 cup lemon juice to the entire mixture.
    Just before serving, add 1 quart ginger ale.
    Serves 24.
