Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. pecans, grated
Preparation

Cream the butter.
Add sugar, egg, vanilla and salt.
Add flour and mix well.
Add oatmeal and blend.
Add pecans and blend. If too dry, add a tablespoon of water.
Form into balls the size of a small walnut.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
