Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. broccoli
2 c. water
1 large stalk celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of nutmeg
1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Remove flowerets from broccoli.
Cut stalks into 1-inch pieces.
In saucepan, heat water to boiling.
Add broccoli, celery and onion.
Cook about 10 minutes, or until broccoli is tender. Do not drain.
Place in blender.
Blend until smooth.
Heat margarine until melted, add flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Stir in chicken broth.
Heat to boiling.
Stir in broccoli, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Heat just to boiling.
Stir in whipping cream.
Heat just until hot, do not boil.
