Angel Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
    Sift flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Roll into small balls.
    Mash with a fork.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until light brown.
