Indian Puddinga Yankee Favorite! - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. unsulphured molasses
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, scald the milk.
    Using a wire whisk, gradually stir in the cornmeal.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and coats a metal spoon, about 10 minutes.
    Stir in the butter or margarine; remove from heat.
