Ingredients

3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 1/2 sq. (1 1/2 oz.) bitter chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
chopped nuts
whipped cream
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add granulated sugar gradually.
Blend in bitter chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition, about 5 minutes, until firm.
Put into prepared crust and garnish with chopped nuts and cream.
