Grandpere'S Maple Syrup Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. maple syrup
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat the maple syrup to a boil.
    Combine eggs (beaten until fluffy), flour, baking powder and salt.
    Blend well.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls into boiling syrup.
    Dumplings will bob up; allow to cook for 5 minutes.
    Delicious as is or with cream.
