4 Tbsp. margarine or butter
salt and pepper to taste

2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Shuck, silk and wash corn.
Split each row of kernels with sharp knife.

Using dull side of knife, run it down the cob to extract all the milky pulp from corn.
Put cut off corn into deep microwave dish with butter, salt and pepper.
Cook, covered, on High for 10 minutes.
Add milk and arrowroot or cornstarch.
If you like it thicker, add more.
Cook on 70% power for 6 to 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until desired consistency.
