Grandma'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, slightly beaten
4 1/2 c. applesauce (three 16 1/2 oz. cans)
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 Tbsp. cloves
1 1/2 Tbsp. soda
3 Tbsp. hot water
1 lb. English walnuts, chopped
1 box dates, chopped
1 box raisins

Preparation

Cream butter and add sugar.
Add eggs and mix until smooth and fluffy.
Add applesauce.
