Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    2 boxes whole strawberries
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut up 1 cup berries; simmer with water for 4 minutes.
    Add sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.
    Stir in butter.
    Fill pie shell with sliced berries; pour cooked mixture over berries. Cool; serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip; chill until serving time.
