Creamy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. light cream
    1/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Butter side of heavy 2-quart saucepan.
    Combine sugars, cream, milk and butter.
    Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugars are dissolved and mixture comes to a boiling point, then cook to a soft ball stage (238\u00b0) or tested in cold water, stirring only if necessary.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool to lukewarm without stirring.
    Add vanilla and nuts; beat until very thick. Pour into buttered pan.
    Cut when cool.
