Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    2 qt. broth
    black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil chicken in salted water until tender.
    Skin, debone and cut into small pieces.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add water; mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Roll on floured board thin as possible.
    Cut in strips.
    Drop in boiling chicken broth; simmer for about 20 minutes, or until dumplings are tender.
    Add chicken; set aside until ready to serve.
