Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter with sugar.
    Combine flour with baking powder and salt.
    Mix this mixture into the cream mixture.
    Divide dough into 3 circles about 1/3-inch thick.
    Place on a greased baking sheet and prick with a fork.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until set.
    Cut into wedges while still warm, but do not remove from sheet until cold.
    Makes approximately 24 cookies.
