Never Fail Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. flavoring (lemon or vanilla or both)
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk (2/3 c. evaporated plus 1/3 c. water)
    3 c. cake flour (Swans Down)
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar well.
    Add eggs, two at a time; beat well.
    Add flour and milk alternately.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Remove from pan.
