Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Angel Flake coconut
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    meringue for one 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Sift together sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.
    Scald milk in double boiler.
    Add dry ingredients.
    When mixture begins to thicken, add 1/2 cup to egg yolks, then pour back into mixture. Stir very often, cooking until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, vanilla and coconut; stir until butter melts.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Spread meringue on hot filling, sealing to edge of crust.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until light golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
