Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 small can evaporated milk
    11 large marshmallows
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk and marshmallows.
    Stir well and cook on medium high.
    When marshmallows begin to boil, time 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Remove from heat and pour chocolate chips in hot syrup mixture.
    Beat mixture until chips dissolve (use a wooden spoon).
    Beat about 1 to 2 minutes longer and pour into buttered dish.
    When cool, cut into pieces.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
