Pull Mints - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. butter
food coloring
8 drops peppermint oil
Preparation

Make in very cold weather. Mix together sugar, water and butter. Add food coloring to desired color. Cook until 375\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Pour quickly onto cold buttered marble slab. Add peppermint oil and flip edges over and mix together. Pick up and pull mints (outside). Must be done quickly until cool. Cut with scissors. Drop into confectioners sugar to coat. Store in tight container.
