Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal; cool 10 minutes.
    Add sugars, margarine, eggs, sifted dry ingredients and 1/2 chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle remainder of chocolate chips and nuts (optional) on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
