Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. coconut
1 stick oleo
5 eggs, separated
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar, oleo and Crisco; add egg yolks one at a time. Add soda to the flour and add alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
Beat egg whites really stiff and fold into the mixture and then add coconut.
Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until done to touch.
