Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. elbow macaroni
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. American or Colby cheese
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to directions.
    Drain.
    Arrange in shallow, buttered baking dish.
    Melt butter in saucepan, blend in flour and stir in milk slowly,.
    Bring to a boil (do not burn). Add salt and pepper and 1/2 cheese, diced.
    Stir until melted. Scatter other half of cheese over macaroni.
    Pour sauce over all. Sprinkle crumbs over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
