Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese.
Beat with mixer. Add half of the flour, the 2/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, baking powder, vanilla and almond extract. Beat until combined. Beat or stir remaining flour; divide in half. Cover and chill for 1 to 2 hours or until firm. On lightly floured surface, roll 1 portion at a time to 1/4 inch thickness. Using cookie cutters, cut in desired shapes. If desired, decorate before baking. Bake in oven for 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0. Makes 32 cookies.
