Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef or 1/2 ground turkey
    1 (29 oz.) can crushed tomatoes or 4 c. chopped fresh tomatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. green pepper
    2 cloves garlic
    4 Tbsp. chili powder (more to taste)
    1 (51 oz.) can kidney beans
    salt to taste (approximately 1/2 tsp.)
Preparation
    In
    Dutch
    oven brown ground beef (or beef and turkey). Add green
    pepper
    and\tonion and cook until onion is tender. Add tomatoes,
    salt and chili powder.
    Reduce heat and simmer for approximately
    1
    hour; stir occasionally.\tStir in beans and liquid;
    heat through completely.
    Let sit about 1/2 hour and serve.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
