Microwaved Hot Turkey Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. turkey, cooked and cubed
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    2 pimientos, chopped
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. canned French fried onions
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine turkey, water chestnuts, pimientos, almonds, mushrooms, lemon juice and mayonnaise.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Top with cheese and onions.
    Microwave, covered, on High for 8 to 10 minutes, giving dish a 1/4 turn after 4 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 6.
