Potato Latkes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Shred onion on large holes of grater.
    Shred potatoes on small holes.
    Drain potatoes and onion, pressing out liquids.
    Stir together potatoes, onion, egg, flour, salt and pepper.
    Heat 1-inch of cooking oil on medium setting in a 10-inch skillet. Drop mixture by 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Cook 2 to 4 minutes, until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towels.
