Ham Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 1) can whole kernel corn
1 (No. 1) can tomatoes, partly drained
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
dash of hot pepper sauce
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 green pepper, chopped
2 c. diced, cooked ham
Preparation

Combine corn, tomatoes, broth, celery, salt and hot pepper sauce.
Heat to boiling. Reduce heat.
Melt butter and stir in flour and milk.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Stir in tomato mixture. At this point, you may not want to use all of the liquid.
Add cheese, green pepper and ham. Cook over low heat until cheese melts and mixture is heated through.
