Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    10 c. water
    1 c. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    sliced apples to fill 7 qt. jars
Preparation
    Cook sauce ingredients in saucepan until bubbly.
    Add lemon juice.
    Fill quart jars with apples and pour sauce over apple to cover.
    Seal and process 20 minutes in boiling water bath.
