George Washington Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 - 9 inch pie crusts
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    juice of 4 lemons
    1 can red, tart cherries in water, drained and cut into
    8 oz. cool whip, soft
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Bake pie crusts as directed and cool.
    Drain cherries and cut into pieces.
    Mix together all ingredients.
    Pour into pie shells and refrigerate.
    Makes 2 pies.
