Helen'S Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar or 12 pkg. Equal
    1/4 c. or less oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt or less
    1 (16 oz.) can green beans
    1 (15 1/2 to 19 oz.) can garbanzos or white Great Northern beans
    1 (15 1/2 to 19 oz.) can kidneys
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 small green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil, vinegar and salt.
    Heat on high for 3 to 5 minutes until mixture boils and sugar dissolves.
