Mom'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. red kidney beans or mixture
2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
3/4 c. brown sugar (do not omit)
1/2 c. molasses
12 mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 zucchini, chopped (optional)
2 tsp. dry mustard
pepper and salt to taste
Preparation

Soak enough beans overnight to make 3 cups. Combine all the ingredients in a crock-pot, bean pot or suitable dish with cover for oven. (If too dry during cooking, add more tomatoes or tomato juice.) Bake in oven at 300\u00b0 or slow cook for 12 1/2 to 13 hours.
