E. G. Cheese Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. (10 oz.) shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (2 1/2 oz.) pkg. smoked beef slices, chopped
    1/4 c. green onion, chopped
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Combine Cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese, mixing on medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
    Add chopped beef, green onion and Worcestershire sauce.
    Mix well.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Shape mixture into 7-inch log.
    Wrap 16 x 1-inch foil strips around log.
    Roll in chopped parsley. Remove foil.
    Serve with crackers or party rye bread.
