Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Stir together and chill at least 3 hours.
Roll out flat (1/4 inch) thick and cut into shapes.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 6 minutes.
