King'S Arms Tavern Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sweet potatoes
    3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Cook sweet potatoes in boiling, salted water until done; drain, peel and mash.
    Stir in all ingredients except 2 tablespoons of sugar.
    Turn the mixture into the greased casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining sugar on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
