Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/4 c. hot oil or beef drippings
Preparation

Mix flour and salt together; gradually add milk, beating until smooth after each addition.
Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth.
Cover and chill for 2 hours.
Pour into hot shallow (8 x 10-inch) pan, containing oil.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve immediately with gravy.
Yields 6 portions.
